Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Please Confirm Receipt" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 27 Jul 2010 01:40:15 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Mr Lu Dequn <marco.menegazzi@fastwebnet.it>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
I am Lu Dequn, an account officer in Hsbc Bank Japan. A deceased client of mine, that shares the same last name as yours, died as the result of a heart-related c ondition on March 12th 2005. I contacted you to assist in distributing the money left behind by my client($12.2m) left behind. Best regards, Mr Lu Dequn
