An Email with the Subject "Attention: Beneficiary" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 03 Aug 2010 05:44:31 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Dr. Garba Imam"<drgarbaimam@sterlingbank.org>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Attention: Beneficiary. This is to officially inform you that we have verified your contract inheritance file presently on my desk,and I found out that you have not received your payment due to your lack of co-operation and not fulfilling the obligations given to you in respect to your contract/inheritance payment.Secondly,you are hereby advice to stop dealing with non-officials in the bank as this is an illegal act and will have to stop if you so wish to receive your payment immediately.
