An Email with the Subject "ACCRUED INTEREST PAYMENT OF $2.5 MILLION US DOLLARS IN YOUR FAVOR!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 17 Mar 2009 08:57:29 -0400 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "From Intercontinental Bank Nigeria Plc"<info@intercontinentalbankplc.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

on his direct line: Telex/Fax:+234-80 321 372 68 Furthermore, you are advised to stop all kinds of 
communications with any other bank(s) or governmental parastatals in respect of this US$2.5M 
accrued interest of your fund, which is with our bank Intercontinental Bank Limited. 

Therefore, be warned!!! As no other one will have this $2.5 Million paid to you except this bank.As 
a bank we have about four mode of international payment such as (1) telegraphic Transfer (T.T) (2) 
Payment by International Certified Bank Draft (3) Payment by International ATM Swift Card 
Payment,(4) Payment by CPP (CASH PAYMENT PROCEEDURE) which you are advised to make choice on the 
four mode of payment as you are responding to this email. 
 
Lastly, call him immediately you receive this message for more briefings. Please, when you call 
request that the bank branch code, which is: 201 is reconfirmed to you before you speak up. If not 
hang up and recall until you get it correctly to avoid speaking with a wrong person. 

On this note, We  wish to draw your attention to this urgent circular to inform you that In order 
to get this unclaimed accrued interest of $2.5 Million Dollars release to you as approved for 
immediate release/delivery to you, you are hereby advised to reconfirm as below stated For the 
purpose of more clarification:

(2)Your Direct Telephone/Fax Number
(3)Your Contact Address with Zip Code
(4)Your banking details, swift code ABA Routing Number and Telephone of your Bank
(5)Your Identification Either Drivers License or International Passport for
