An Email with the Subject "CAN I TRUST YOU?" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 15 Jun 2009 13:37:22 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Ibrahim Buba <ibrahi_buba3@yahoo.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

More Details: The depositor of the said fund died with his entire family during the Iraq war in 2004. The customer used his wife as the next of kin but unfortunately, the wife died along side with him leaving nobody for the claim. According to our banking law, if the fund remains unclaimed for (6) years then, the fund will be transferred into the reserve bank as unclaimed bill. I don't want the fund to go into the bank treasury account as unclaimed bill, that is the reason to transfer the fund to you as the next of kin, let us claim the fund. I want to present you as his cousin or business partner so that the bank will transfer the fund into your bank account for us to share it.
