Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "YOUR ASSISTANCE NEEDED" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 24 Jul 2008 09:39:28 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as Mr John Jasper <garytito9@yahoo.com.hk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Goodday , My name is Mr John Jasper in South Africa our client died Three years ago leaving behind Capital amount (US$14.6M) in our bank here where i work,I am his account manager ,till date no body has come forward or put application for the claim. During the bank private search for the relative recently your name and email contact was among the findings that matches the same surname as the deceases who died inter state with no Will or next of kin with our bank record. To maintain the level of security required I have intentionally left out the final details. I want you to come forward since I can provide you with the details needed for us to claim the Funds ,I will do all the crucial part in the bank to have the claim release to you promptly.
