An Email with the Subject "WRITE ME BACK" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 03 Jul 2014 17:57:11 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Barr.Andrew Daniel"<lexla24@gmail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Hello Please forgive me if this business proposition offends your moral values and i pray this mail finds you and your family in good health, I am Barrister Andrew Daniel personnel for diplomatic missions Prudent Securities Ghana. Following the uprising in Libya a convoy from our office with me included was sent to Libya to secure our interests, assets and Ghanaians in Libya. In the course of this mission my team and i brought several war victims to Ghana as refugees,during this mission we conveyed valuable properties of some foreigners to Ghana knowing we would come back to transport them out of Libya as refugees. The war got intense than anticipated and we were ordered not return to Libya. It has been three years since the war ended so we conducted an inspect exercise to return all unclaimed belongings to their owner since all the victims brought to Ghana as refugees have returned to their various country. During this inspection we discovered that two trunk box registered as family precious items under our care by a victim actually contains Gold worth fifty two million. My company tried every means to contact the victim but all effort failed, I was sent to deliver the box to the United States address written on the deposit file only to discover that my company could not reach the victim because she and her entire family were killed in Libya during the war. As a result of this discovery i have their death certificate information but, I am yet to report to my company because if i do they will have me return the trunks to Ghana and confiscate the gold as our companies unclaimed assists. The end of the matter will be that the value will be shared amongst my company’s superiors, so instead of my company to confiscate the gold, I want you and I to share it in this manner, 15 percent of the total value will be given to you, 10 to charity then the rest will be mine for providing the information.
