An Email with the Subject "RE:CHANGE OF YOUR BANK A/C STATUE!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 25 Jul 2015 15:02:52 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as <ritabarcd71555@hotmail.co.uk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

We have been contacted by MR ROBERT CARRINGTON of Ontario Canada in which he has informed us about your illness and instruction to act on your behalf as regards to the claims of your fund, in this respect, we deem it wise to contact you first to find out if you are out of the hospital and to verify if his claims that you have authorized him to receive the fund on your behalf is true as we donât want to conclude on hearing from him alone, in this respect, if you are out of hospital, it is very important that you should contact us to confirm that you have authorized him to claim the fund on your behalf.
