An Email with the Subject "From Dr.Victor" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 27 Jul 2006 07:52:40 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Dr Victor Amossou <drvamossou@mail.ru>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Sir, I am Dr Victor Amossou,the director in charge of the Auditing and Accounting section of Diamond Bank Cotonou,Benin Republic,West Africa. I contacted you to assist in repartrating the money left behind by our late customer before they get confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank,the account which valued about 15.6 million dollars(fifteen Million,six hundred thousand United states Dollars). Conseqently,The bank issued a notice the next of kin to come forward for the claim or have the account confiscated within the next ten official working days. since it has not been succesfull in locating the the relatives for over 3 years now I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you are from the same country so that the proceeds of this account valued at $15.6 million US dollars can be paid to your account and then you and I can share the money. 60% to me and 30% to you.
