Dear Sir, I am Terrence J. Checki, Executive director Emerging Markets and International Affairs Group supports two of the Bank's key objectives: fostering international financial stability and expanding international relationships. I am currently representing the United States Federal Reserve Bank in Nigeria . I assume this office in June following the mandate of President George Bush to the Federal Reserve Bank. The new elected Nigeria President Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'Adua, has requested that United States government grant loan of $ 1.2 Billion to enable his government pay up foreign contractors who have been owed over the years. President Bush however assented to the request on one condition. i.e that the Grant will be managed by the US Federal Reserve Bank which is why I am in Nigeria to handle the process. This is to forestall a situation where the money will be diverted to other uses or to private pockets of the Nigerian government officials, as is the case all over Africa. The President Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'Adua accepted this condition and initial grant of $500 million was given by the US government. This money is with the Federal Reserve bank in New York, from where your funds will be transfered to your nominated account. What this means in effect is that the transaction has been taken away from Nigerians and we will make sure that all contractors get there payment from this fund once your contract is cleared and approved by the Nigerian Government. In view of this development, I wish to assure you that your payment will be effected without delay as soon as the information you provide is confirmed by the Nigerian Government. You are hereby requested to confirm your contract No, and the contract amount immediately you receive this email. As soon as this is done, we will instruct our New York office to transfer the said amount within 24 hours to your account. I am happy to inform you that we have successfully paid some contractors within this short period .All we are asking from you is to follow our instruction to achieve maximum results. The good news is that you will not be reaped of your money anymore, the Federal Reserve Bank is handling the payment this time. Your immediate adherence to sending the requested information will enable us proceed with the payments immediately. I am determined to succeed in making sure that no foreign contractor loose any money to the Nigerian Government. I therefore ask you to help me achieve this goal by responding as soon as possible so as to conclude this payment on time. Please feel free to call me or send email to: terrencejchecki@yahoo.com or send a fax to:15093550706 when you receive this mail in case you have any question you may want to ask. I am personally interested in your case and I assure that you will receive your payment in no time. Congratulations Yours Truly, Mr. Terrence J. Checki Please, reconfirm your telephone, fax and Bank details. ------------------------------------------- South Africas premier free email service - www.webmail.co.za ------------------------------------------------------------------ For super low premiums, click here http://www.webmail.co.za/dd.pwm BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL
